Article on Defense of Client due to Dependence on Opiods

Jodi Switalski defended a former middle school principal charged with one felony count of second-degree home invasion. Switalski pointed to a dependence the client developed during treatment for a sports-related injury. 

The Oakland press quotes Switalski as stating “Amy is a victim of the medical profession ... Amy is like millions of people in this country...subsequent to her surgeries, doctors wrote prescription after prescription after prescription (for opioid-based painkillers).”
